Newtown will be joining Brien McMahon and us in Class V competition as early as next week, we want to take the time to wish both High School bands the best of luck in class V competition!
Creative Music of Monroe, everyone last winter must remember the music store who was kind enough to donate gloves to us for our trip to D.C. last winter at the Inaugural Parade? Well they will be at the Classic to present to THSGEMB, an Original Engraved Olympic Baritone Horn from the Beijing Olympics. The Fall Classic seemed like the proper venue for this Baritone to be properly “Received”, so the official dedication will take place at this year’s Fall Classic. Also check the MAC schedule and come early enough to see some of the high school bands and marching musical talent that exists in our own backyard. What a piece of art this Baritone is up close!
