Here is a link to the Fall Classic Scheule and information about the UMASS Minuteman Band, right from the THSGEMBCORP web site,

The Trumbull High School Golden Eagle Marching Band.hosts our “Fall Classic” on Saturday, October 3rd, beginning at 4:30. The “Fall Classic” is the home event for THSGEMB” and is considered one of the highlights on the fall circuit for High School Marching Bands in the tri state area. This year’s THSGEMB field show is titled “Replay” will be a collage of favorite musical pieces from over the past years. Trumbull will host 18 High School Bands from CT, NY, NJ, and the 385 member strong UMASS “Minuteman Band” ehich will exhibit their show this year.  Please join us for the event as gates open at 3:30 and will run until UMASS plays.
The UMass 2009 show features music from the Motion Picture Pirates of the Caribbean Selections include “Jack Sparrow”,”The Kraken”,”Davy Jones” and “He’s a Pirate”. The percussion section also performs “Won’t You Come Home, Bill Bailey”. The show debuted on September 12. For more information on the UMASS Minutemen click here! Admission to the Fall Classic is only $10 for Adults and $5 for children and seniors. To kick off the event, the National Anthem will be played at 4:30 by eighth grade band students from both Hillcrest and Madison Middle schools.
Creative Music of Monroe, everyone last winter must remember the music store who was kind enough to donate gloves to us for our trip to D.C. last winter at the Inaugural Parade? Well they will be at the Classic to present to THSGEMB, an Original Engraved Olympic Baritone Horn from the Beijing Olympics. The Fall Classic seemed like the proper venue for this Baritone to be properly “Received”, so the official dedication will take place at this year’s Fall Classic
UMass will attend and exhibit this year and they will be bringing over 385 bandos and guardos to put on the field.  Someone who saw the show last week, said their show was based on the Pirates of the Caribbean and JUST AMAZING. They have a band that is roughly three times the size of our band! And we would encourage all drum corps fans and marching band fans even not associated with any of the high school bands to come if for no other reason than to see UMass, as the show is supposed to be “That good!” For morr information on UMass – click here.
But check the MAC schedule and come early enough to see some of the high school bands and marching musical talent  that exists in our own backyard.
