Game Of Thrones • “The Rains of CastamereSeason three episode 9. “Holy CRAP!!!!” That’s the words that slowly crawled out of my mouth after viewing       Last Sunday nights episode,… HOO LEE CRAP!! The whole ‘world’ of Game of Thrones takes a violent turn, and drops every viewers jaw on the ground!!  I would imagine if you had read the books you knew this was coming, but still felt a lot of emotion from the episode.

I was going to write about the Opening episode of “The Killing” over on AMC, but after what felt like ‘a punch to the throat and a hit to the kidneys episode’ of Game of thrones; I had to write about it instead!

In this episode we find Arya Stark, finally about to be reunited with her mother and older brother. Jon Snow, showing his ‘true colors’ to the wildlings he has been traveling with. Daenerys Targaryen Move even closer to her goal to sit in the chair of swords. Bran Stark, setting on a quest over the wall to find the 3 eyed raven, and the wedding of Edmure Tully to one of Walder Frey’s daughters!

Its getting to be a trend to have a ‘Major event’ happened in the ninth episode of every season on Game of Thrones, I think this one tops them all!

I just want to tip my hat to George R.R. Martin for breathing life into so many lovable characters and characters you love to hate.

If you ever wanted to see the show but never got around to doing so, do yourself a favor and pick up the DVD, or download them from itunes. Or pick up the book. In any case, you will not be disappointed!

“When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground,”  -Queen Cersei Lannister (played by Lena Headey),  no truer words wherever  said in the show.
