Andre Drummond spent some quality time with the media (and graciously answered the same question 15 times) on the eve of the NBA Draft.
Because he’s an in-state kid, and more so because he’s the top recruit in program history who committed three days before school began, Drummond was undoubtedly the most captivating figure in UConn hoops last season. He was written about more than any other Husky. In the past few weeks, he’s been scrutinized more than any top prospect.
Drummond feels as though he’ll go anywhere from 2-7 in Thursday’s draft. He worked out for Portland, Sacramento, Cleveland, Charlotte and Washington, all of whom pick in the top six.
