This should be interesting.
When UConn opens its season against Michigan State Friday in Germany (5:30 EST, ESPN), former coach Jim Calhoun will join Joe D’Ambrosio, the voice of the Huskies, on WTIC-1080 radio, according to multiple reports.
I highly suggest this strategy for Friday’s game: Watch ESPN, mute the announcers (although I believe it’s Jay Bilas), and get 1080 going. Even though he’s hard to follow at times, Calhoun should be fascinating on the air. It’s Kevin Ollie’s first real game, so you’d imagine there will be variety of emotions running through Calhoun Friday night.
Word is Calhoun will make the trip to the Virgin Islands for the mid-November Paradise Jam. He’s not expected to announce any of those games, though.

It was since 2000, so Khalid isn’t included
Clearly ur opinion of best freshman in uconn history is ridiculous. By far the best was Khalid. You don’t have him in your top 10? Get a new job donkey! Butler was great as sophomore. Freshman – really? Like him or not nobody compared! We will give u a re-do
This is true…
The only problem with listening to radio and watching TV is the approximately 7-10 second delay between the two!
