In Friday’s Hearst Connecticut newspapers we take a look at the 15 players who have left UConn early for the NBA and how they have fared. The group has made about $778 million in their careers, according to salary numbers from When you factor in some of the players that have stayed for four years with the program, that number grows to over $914 million in NBA earnings.

Some of the players who decided to stick around in Storrs for an extra year made out rather well in their NBA careers:

Cliff Robinson – $61.5 million

Travis Knight – $22.6 million

Current UConn head coach Kevin Ollie – $20 million

Jake Voskuhl – $12.3 million

Hilton Armstrong- $9.4 million (current playing)

Scott Burrell – $7.2 million

Jeff Adrien – $2.3 million (current playing)

Tate George – $2 million

If you were to factor in almost-a-Husky Andrew Bynum’s $79 million, that would put UConn players at almost $1 billion in earnings.
