Shoulder injury for Trevardo Williams

Senior defensive end Trevardo Williams suffered an apparent shoulder injury in the second half of UConn’s 24-17 victory over Pitt Friday night at Rentschler Field. However, in his post-game comments UConn head coach Paul Pasqualoni said that he didn’t think that Williams’ injury was severe and that he should be ready to play against Louisville on Nov. 24.
The Huskies have a bye week upcoming.
Williams, who played his high school football at Bridgeport Central, is the Huskies all-time sack leader with 27 1/2.
