Showers today, turning colder tonight

It will be a cloudy day with some scattered showers.

But, it’s going to get colder as a cold front moves into the area late this afternoon and this evening.

Temps, now near 60, will fall into the 30s tonight.

Here’s the forecast from the National Weather Service:

Today: Showers likely, mainly between 10am and 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 57. Southwest wind 7 to 11 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Tonight: A chance of showers before 7pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 32. Northwest wind 8 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 48. West wind 8 to 16 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 31. Northwest wind 6 to 13 mph.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 47. West wind 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 54.
