Even though there will be an abundance of clouds on Friday, highs will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s, which is right around normal for March 28.
Temperatures will be much warmer than what we have observed across the region since last Sunday, the National Weather Service says.
Daytime highs in the 50s are expected at least through Wednesday, with Sunday being the only exception, forecasters say.
Here’s the official NWS forecast for our region:
“Milder temperatures are returning Friday through the weekend. However, the sunshine we observed Thursday may be the last time we see sun with limited clouds until early next week.
“An unsettled pattern of weather is setting up from Friday into at least Sunday. A front moves through on Friday bringing showers, then stalls near the region this weekend with low pressure developing just south of the area.
“Widespread rain is then expected from Saturday afternoon through Sunday.
