A history of Westport’s sewers. Really.

|

The Westport Historical Society, ahem, is really going with the flow.

That’s because on tap for next Saturday, June 16, is a tour of Westport’s wastewater-treatment plant! Public Works Director Steve Edwards will lead this guided tour from 10 to 11 a.m. at the plant, 4 Elaine St.

The tour is designed to show how the treatment plant protects the town’s watershed and what residents can do to help.

To learn more about Westport’s sewer history, visit “The Sound & The Saugatuck” exhibit at the historical society, 25 Avery Place.
