Westport News reporter Paul Schott hosted last week the latest episode of the Westport Roundtable, the Westport News’ podcast, which focuses on important and interesting community issues.

The latest episode featured a discussion of Westport’s public-transportation network, the Westport Transit District.

The panel included five local transit experts:

Gene Cederbaum, co-director of the Westport Transit District.

Jennifer Johnson, co-director of the Westport Transit District.

Jim Ross, a daily user of the Transit District’s services and the chairman of the Citizens Transit Committee, which was formed in July 2012 to evaluate the town’s bus services.

State Rep. Jonathan Steinberg, D-136, a member of the General Assembly’s Transportation Committee.

Cathy Talmadge, District 6, chairwoman of the RTM’s Transit Committee.
