Sean P. Quail, the husband of the suspect police say received stolen beer from Omar Thornton, the shooter who killed eight people in Manchester earlier this month assaulted two Fox television reporters outside of a Hartford court room earlier this morning.
According to Courant.com, Reporter George Colli and photographer Alan Chaniewski were sprayed with wasp and hornet spray about 9:45 a.m.
This guy is an idiot!!! I’m sure he’ll get prosecuted. WASP sprays’ labels state, “It’s a violation of federal law to use in any manner inconsistent with this label.” Not to mention, those sprays are filled with poison and some stupid myth keeps floating around the internet telling people wasp spray is a good deterrent. It’s not and it’s illegal!! That reporter sure didn’t seem to effected!
Ah, I remember the days when a reporter might say something like “may we interview you”, and the person had the right to say “no comment”, and the reporter would show some respect.
Oh the other hand, how many people have ever had a wasp or hornet problem in their car such that they needed to carry around a can of wasp/hornet spray ?
I kind of liked that he almost closed the door on his arm, but the window was wide open. We’re talking genius material here

What kind of tactic? Provoked? Sean Quail has been CHARGED with accepting stolen beer from a guy who shot and killed eight people. This makes him a news story!! The guy with the camera has just doing his job. Quail is going to be charged with assualt. Smart, but what do you expect from a 33year old who spends his free time accepting stolen beer.
