Linda is a great lady. She already make her money, so she does not to have a government job. She is for the poor people. Good Luck to her.

What do you expect from the mindless Angry Leftists at MSNBC? MSNBC is nothing more than an arm of the DNC, and a loony arm at that! See this video below for MSNBC's analyst Lawrence O'Donnell and his question for Marc Thiessen.

Yup, the addled mind of the Left in action...

Sean, There is more to labor costs than the actual base rate, and yes, total labor costs are too high, and that assists in making Ct uncompetitive in manufacturing, even vs other states. Some of the non-base factors I have seen Ct being uncmpetitive in (from personal experience) include:

(a) Closed shop union contracts unnecesarily feather-bedding headcounts via job restrictions that are useless,

(b) Absentism adding to overtime, above other states absentism levels.

(c) Producing at bare minimum levels, while other states employees are increasing their productivity levels.

(d) Higher state unemployment insurance costs, and workers comp costs.

The upcoming races for both the Senate and our new Governor are important - critically so - for Connecticut. I am still evaluating Ms. McMahon. I have decided Rudy Marconi is the best qualified to take over the reins from Governor Rell.

She says, "Our labor costs are too high" in Connecticut. So according to McMahon, we need to make middle class workers poorer in order to improve the climate for business. So this North Carolina native wants Nutmeggers to see their incomes drop to the level of rural Carolina.

And that thing about cleaning up steroid use? Take a look at this from Wikipedia:

"In 1993, (her husband and WWE co-owner) Vince McMahon was indicted on charges that he distributed steroids to his wrestlers. Steroid usage had been rampant throughout the World Wrestling Federation and the World Bodybuilding Federation, with evidence pointing blame directly at the companies' former staff doctor, Dr. George Zahorian. The doctor had been appointed to treat wrestlers, and was hired between 1987 and 1991 to satisfy the Pennsylvania Athletic Commission's health requirements. In 1990, George Zahorian's office was raided by Federal investigators after an undercover informant had purchased anabolic steroids and controlled substances from Zahorian, breaking the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1988.[19]"

As sleezy as they come.

I am no fan of Linda McMahon or WWE but Larwence ODonnel is crude and distracts from the conversation you are trying to present. Get him off the show - his total lack of any ability to discuss something that has a shade of disagreement starts and eruption of garbage.

When I turn off your show and look elsewhere, invariably it is after Lawrence starts his tirades.

"analyst Lawrence O’Donnell accusing of “mak[ing] money off the blood of people who destroyed themselves for a living for you.”

Oh, so he had Jim Calhoun as a guest!

Lets see, what is Calhoun's graduation rate again? Isn't graduating behind the concept of student (LOL)/athlete?

I'm no Republican, and no fan of Linda McMahon, but accusing her of making money off people's blood, or words to that effect, is really unfair. Would anyone accuse Paul Tagliabue, former NFL commissioner, of making money off people's blood? The woman runs an entertainment business. All the athlete/ performers are grown men and women that understand the risks of their profession. Many of them are handsomly compensated. Grown men and women can choose how to make a living and should be able to choose what they do with their own bodies. She was simply giving the people a great product and what they wanted.
