Third-hand smoke site launches

|

Earlier this week, we ran a story about the Stratford Health Department’s new effort to raise awareness about the possible dangers of third-hand smoke, i.e. the residue left behind after a cigarette is extinguished.

Well, yesterday the department launched a new website for the campaign, www.SmokeStinks.org. The site includes background on third-hand smoke, as well as information on local smoking cessation programs. The program is being called the first of its kind in the country so, if you’re interested in learning more about the issue (even if you don’t live in Stratford) feel free to check out the site.
