The Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center of Trumbull recently announced the winners of its annual scholarships. The awards were
given to high school scholar athletes planning to attend college this fall.
OSM offers these scholarships to outstanding high school seniors who excel in three areas: student athletic achievements, academic accomplishments and community service. The scholarship is open to high schools where OSM serves as team physicians. “Assisting the student athlete to move toward their goal is very
rewarding. Our practice is proud to follow these students throughout their high school athletic careers and to serve as their team physicians.
This program keeps us connected to the community we serve,” said OSM orthopedic surgeon Dr. Michael Redler in a news release.
The winners of this year’s scholarships are: Thomas Adzima (St. Joseph High School, Trumbull), Hector Reyes (Harding High School, Bridgeport), Alison Forger (Masuk High School, Monroe), Andrew Goldstein (Notre Dame High School, in Fairfield), Colin Keyes (Trumbull High School), Joshua Kreitler (Shelton High School) and Diamond Allen (Central High School, Bridgeport).
OSM surgeons specialize in all aspects of bone and joint surgery as well as sports medicine and orthopedic surgery. The practice consists of a
chiropractor, a podiatrist, two physiatrists, physician assistants, and athletic trainers. OSM has offices in Trumbull, Fairfield, Stratford, and
