Talk on ‘Risks of taking too many medications’

On Thursday, Sept. 18, Kim Venterea,  consultant pharmacist for Masonicare at Newtown, will present a Lunch & Learn program entitled “The Risks of Taking Too Many Medications.”

In her presentation, Venterea will discuss the increasing prescription use in the senior population and the risks involved in taking more medication than is clinically needed.  She will also address the safety of taking medications daily, as well as what you need to know about over-the-counter medications.
