This was one of those perfect days to bake. With the wind whipping and the snow coming down, I fired up the oven and and started cooking. I found a recipe on Pinterest for baked pumpkin spice donut holes, but I didn’t have any pumpkin on hand. I did, however, have a bunch of leftover butternut squash that I had roasted, so I mashed it up, blended it with some flour, sugar and spices and baked up these little goodies.
