Pets of the Week(2)

|

Every week, we’ll feature we feature one dog and one cat available for adoption from an area shelter,  between Greenwich Animal Control and Adopt-A-Dog.  I put them together.  Here is King Triton from ADOPT-A-DOG.

King Triton

King Triton is a 1-year-old, male miniature  pinscher mix, weighing about 12-15 pounds.  A rescue from a puppy mill, King Triton has been neutered.  He is good with some other dogs, but it’s not know how he gets along with cats. King Triton is not recommended for children.

Here is Belle, from ADOPT-A-DOG.

Belle

Belle is an 8-year-old Female tabby mix cat, who is spayed and weighs 7 pounds.  She was surrendered by her owner.  She is not recommended in a home with dogs, but is OK with other cats and older children.

King Triton and Belle, along with other cats and dogs, are available for adoption at Adopt-A-Dog, 2 Cox Ave., Armonk, N.Y. The phone is 914-273-1674.  Or their website: http://www.adopt-a-dog.org/

Here are some animals from GREENWICH ANIMAL CONTROL.  Here is Opal.

Opal

Opal is a very special cat. She is blind and an elder cat.  In spite of all of this, she is very nice and sweet.

Here is Maya from Greenwich Animal Control:

Maya

(I really like this dog.)   May is a 4-to-5-year female pit bull mix.  She is very loving and eager to please as you can see in the picture.  May is smart and well-behaved too, and is eager to be a great campanion.

Maya and Opal, along with other cats and dogs, are available for adoption for Greenwich Animal Control, 292 North St. The facility hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The phone number is 203-622-8299.
