Just 2 months after announcing a $30,000 drive for a new grand piano, the Staples Music Parents Association is nearing its goal.
They’ve collected over three-quarters of the funds needed to replace the old piano, used in all concerts and Players musicals at Staples. The new instrument will honor Alice Lipson, legendary choral director who retired in June after 35 years in Westport.
But for the piano to be ready in September, the remaining money must be in hand by August 28. The music parents need help!
