Yesterday’s “Woog’s Web World” gave a shout-out to Paula Poundstone’s upcoming appearance in Westport: a September 10 appearance at the Levitt Pavilion. It’s a benefit for Homes with Hope.
But the local homeless-assistance organization isn’t the only group benefiting when the Emmy Award-winning comedian comes to town.
Poundstone is donating a portion of the proceeds from that night’s sale of her books, CDs and audiobooks to the Friends of the Westport Library.
It’s a win-win-win situation, for Homes with Hope, the Library and show-goers.
And that’s no laughing matter.
