The New York Times has given a shout-out to a Westport restaurant — and our Farmers Market.
In a story on Connecticut’s first Farm-to-Chef Harvest Celebration Week — starting Sept. 26 — the Times included Le Farm on its list of over 80 participants.
The piece also noted that Nancy Allen Roper, owner of the Boxcar Cantina in Greenwich, finds much of her produce at the Westport market on Imperial Avenue.
The local agriculture movement is growing. And we all reap the benefits.
