It’s been said that Westport exists in a bubble.
But consider these recent stories:
- A Westport native killed his brother in New Haven, then shot himself in his parents’ home here.
- One driver pulled a gun on another.
- A Westporter was charged with conspiracy to commit mortgage fraud.
- Another was arrested after a confrontation with a repo man.
We sure don’t live in a bubble. Westport is very much a part of the real world — for better and, unfortunately some times, worse.
