Last summer, it was pop-up restaurants in Westport.
Now it’s pop-up shops.
From now through Saturday (December 22), a group of local artisans, holistic living specialists, fair trade merchants, organic skin care and hand-crafted holiday confection creators are offering “pop-up” wares at Akram, in Sconset Square.
And you thought nothing ever happened in Westport.
Among the holiday gifts: healing crystals, hand-made pillows, hand-crafted jewelry and home accessories, private yoga and massage gift certificates (and more).
Blue Lemon is providing a free glass of wine, or a discounted bottle of wine with lunch or dinner to any customer who made a purchase at Akram or the pop-up shop.
It’s the local version of Cinderella. Just before midnight on Saturday — well, actually, at 6 p.m. — the shops will be gone.
