There have been a couple of armed robberies of Westport banks recently.
None have been at Bank of America branches.
There’s no way of knowing if that’s because — every few days — an armed guard stands outside one of the 3 BOA banks in town.
He’s usually listening to music, or playing with his smartphone. He looks spectacularly bored.
A potential thief could simply turn around, and head to the branch he’s not guarding.
Still, you never know…
