From the endless campaigns — remember Mitt Romney? Remember Linda McMahon? — to the seemingly endless power outages after Hurricane Sandy.
Then the other Sandy — Sandy Hook — walloped everyone worse than we could imagine.
We’re still hurtling toward a “fiscal cliff.” But at least tomorrow, we’ll do it with a whole, fresh, unsullied, anything-can-happen 2013 spread out in front of us.
