You know you’re going to have a great meal, prepared by a superb chef with fantastic, locally grown food.

That’s the idea behind the Westport Farmers’ Market’s “Fork It Over” (ho ho) fundraiser.
Several celebrated chefs — including Bill Taibe (Le Farm and The Whelk), Michel Nischan (The Dressing Room and Matt Storch (Chelsea and Match) — are planning meals and menus. Ingredients come from purveyors like Craft Butchery, Sport Hill Farm and other nearby locales.
Diners can pick a date: September 22, September 29, October 6 or October 20.
The day before, they’ll find out whether they’ll enjoy a clambake, wood-fired dinner, a pig roast or something equally surprising — and delicious.
The events are limited in number. Space typically sells out quickly.
