Hey y’all. ‘Tis the season. The season for the flat, open, face-up palm. The “please give me some money” palm.
For those of you who don’t own teenagers or go grocery shopping in November/December, this is what I’m talking about:
Now, I don’t usually assume this palm-position. It’s not really my style.
But today, I’m going to try it on for size. For a good reason, of course.
On Sunday, October 30, Devan Infiniti of Fairfield employees, family and friends will be Making Strides against breast cancer.
There are three ways you can help out, if so inclined, which I hope you are.
1. Sign up to walk with us! I promise not to sell you a car. (But I may try to convince you that Infinitis are really, really great. I sorta’ can’t help myself. It’s endearing, really.)
2. Donate some cash! American Cancer Society may suggest $35, $50, $75 or $100 totals, but you can donate as much or as little as you like. Right now, we’re at a whopping $35, with a goal of $1,000. Your donation will help people stay well, get well, find cures, and fight back.
Click this link to our Devan Infiniti Striders page for more info.
3. If you don’t live nearby or if you aren’t in the market for donating (it is tax deductible, FYI), help us get the word out. Email, Facebook, Tweet, Google+, whatever-social-media-ya-got this post or the link to our Devan Infiniti Striders page.
We hope to see you on Sunday! If you sign up to join us, please be sure to introduce yourself to our Devan family.
Until next time, happy handouts!
RPW
Update: Devan Infiniti is now matching all donations, up to a grand total of $5,000. That way you can give $100 by only spending $50, tax deductible.
