		<description>Agreed.  If Mauer hits the open market, the Yankees and Red Sox will be stumbling over themselves to sign him.  I do think Cashman would cap himself at some level, but the haul he could get back in trading Montero and even Romine would be very impressive.  Getting Mauer and then adding young pitching via trade would set this team up for some time.</description>
