If the Columbus Day holiday weekend has you thinking about exploration, the Bruce Museum will be bringing the discoveries to you. The 33rd annual Outdoor Arts Festival will arrive on the museum’s grounds on Saturday, Oct. 11, and stick around the next day to give treasure hunters a chance to snap up the goods.
Nearly 100 artists from across the country will travel to Greenwich with original works in multiple categories, including painting, photography, mixed media, sculpture and digital art creations. (You can see some of the examples of work in photo gallery above.)
Organizers have worked to establish a range of prices, according to a recent news release, and members may be able to purchase at discount.
As you peruse the offerings, there will be music, too. And food will be available for purchase in the food court. Children will be encouraged to exercise their own creativity with free art activities.
The event will happen rain or shine, with admission at $8 (which will get you into the museum, as well). It’s free for members and children under 5.
