Season-closer for Chamber Choir May 3 in Trumbull

The Connecticut Chamber Choir (above) will end its 2015 season with “Psalms, Songs and Spirituals” Sunday, May 3, at 4 p.m. in Trumbull.
Constance Chase, artistic director of the nonprofit group of all-auditioned singers, will conduct.
Christopher Judd, baritone, and Galen Tate, pianist and organist, will be featured.
On the program is Vaughn Williams’ “Five Mystical Songs,” as well as works by Holst, Britten and Thompson.
Other pieces include those by Alice Parker, Kenneth Jennings, Hubert Bird, Rosephanye Powell, Paul Caldwell and Sean Ivory.
The concert will take place at St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull, which is handicapped accessible.
Tickets at the door are $20, $15 for students and seniors, free for children 11 years old and younger.
