Living with Alzheimer’s to be discussed at Ridgefield author’s book signing on Sunday, May 3

chickensoupThis weekend the Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter will host a discussion on living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, along with a book signing by Dr. David Davis, a Ridgefield resident who is featured in the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” book that explores this topic.

Davis has been a chiropractor for over 30 years.  His passion has always been writing, speaking and educating people on the principles of health.  He has been directly impacted by the disease as his wife Linda has younger onset Alzheimer’s.

Davis is committed to assisting caregivers down the path of healing and possibility. Carolyn DeRocco, vice president of programs for the Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter, will speak about the services and support offered by the Alzheimer’s Association.

The event will take place on Sunday, May 3, at 2 p.m. at the Hickory Stick Bookshop. It’s at 2 Green Hill Road in Washington, Conn.
