Actually, Good Friday isn’t a holy day of obligation. There are six of those: Jan. 1, Aug. 15, Nov. 1, Dec. 8, Dec. 25 and Thursday of the sixth week of Easter.
Also, there’s no Mass on Good Friday. In fact, it’s the only day of the year when the Host isn’t consecrated in Catholic churches.
Kudos on getting the math regarding state employees basically right, though.
