    He actually said that? “Latino fundraiser in Waterbury… and these elderly women…”? Sounds as if he had never met Latino people before.
    As he had to approve the campaign public-financing bill, you would think he should have thought this all through before starting his run for governor. If he did give it thought, then he should not be complaining about it now. If he DID NOT think about it, he has no right to be running when we so desperately need a bright governor who understands the past, present and FUTURE issues of our state.

    Candidates for governor need to raise $250,000 to quailfy for state funding, not $750,000. I assume Amman knows this as he was Speaker when the program was enacted.
