If Mick Jagger and (Weston’s) Keith Richards Are The Glimmer Twins, What Does that Make Chris Dodd and Joe Lieberman?

I think Dodd needs to go, but maybe not Lieberman, not yet. He’s done a lot less damage than Dodd when you think about it. Seriously, though, what really needs to happen is the HMOs need to be discarded, disbanded, gotten rid of, whatever. There is no reason in the world for pencil-pushing desk jockeys to have a say over whether or not someone gets medical treatment that is recommended by their physician, except to provide more money for the CEOs’ pockets. HMOs are nothing but money-makers for people who want to PLAY doctor indstead of actually doing the work to achieve their licenses. HMOs have done nothing but make health insurance more complicated and more expensive than it was BEFORE HMOs. There’s a reason Dodd is pushing for this health-care non-reform, and it’s to save his good buddy Ted Kennedy’s supposed “legacy”. Kennedy was the driving force behind the creation of HMOs solely because of the guilt he carried over the Kopechne incident. He had to do something to get his peers off his back, and so decided to screw with the insurance companies, making the whole health care process more complicated (and thus creating more money for those in charge of the HMOs) than it ever needed to be. I’m still astounded by ALL the bull$#!+ that both Kennedy and Dodd have gotten away with for all these years. Isn’t anyone in Congress held accountable for anything besides wayward love affairs?

Dodd and Lieberman are bloated politicians that need to be removed from power. What have they really done for the people of Connecticut, I just see higher taxes, businesses leaving and stagnant population growth. Our state will soon be losing a Congressional seat because we are not growning. Other states are more pro-family and pro-business. Dodd and Lieberman need to go.
