Here’s one of the captions under a photograph on the website that Ken Dixon thinks is “hilarious”:
“Ladies and gentlemen, David Byrne’s latest video piece: ‘Crying Without Lesbians.’”
So a profane, misogenystic, bigoted website directed toward a United States Congresswoman from Connecticut is what the chief political reporter for Hearst Newspapers thinks is “hilarious”? Doesn’t anyone at Hearst read these reporters’ blogs? Do any editors at Hearst try to maintain even the semblance of professionalism among their reporters? Do they even care anymore about professionalism?
Look at that website again, Mr. Dixon, and ask yourself if a professional journalist should be recommending or even pointing out that website about Congresswoman DeLauro on the official website of Hearst Newspapers. And this after writing on this same website that “hanging the lawmakers” is a bright idea.
I’ve seen this website… hilarious! It reminds me of the comments once made in loving jest by Senator Dodd. You may remember that Rosa was once his Chief of Staff. He claims that he arrived one morning and said “and which third world country is she representing today?”. Perfect!

Shame on you, Mr. Dixon. Shame on you.
