I feel very lucky to have served for one term with Bill. He sets a wonderful example of legislative leadership…..he’s intelligent with a good sense of humor and thoughtful humanity. Kudos to Bill for keeping in perspective the real priorities in life!!
Bill Hamzy is a class act who will be sorely missed. Bill doesn’t view Democrats as enemies, but as fellow citizens who have a different point of view. More Democrats & Republicans should take his example to heart. You can disagree with your opponent without denigrating the person’s character or motives – be tough on the issues NOT on the person. Bill’s legislative leadership has made the State and the General Assembly better places and I thank him for his and his family’s sacrifices for the public good.
