Dearly as I love pets, isn’t there anything important for the people of Connecticut such as: Crime, Jobs, Taxes, Transportation infrastucture deterioration? Why such a focus on pets at this time when seniors forgo meals to pay for drugs? Why such a focus on pets at this time when over 10% are out of work? Why such a focus on pets at this time when the environment is at such risk? Why such a focus on pets at this time when taxes keep going up and lawmakers don’t lose their jobs and have a superior healthcare plan most people can’t get? Shall I go on? Is it the politically correct thing to do in this case?
The people of Granby must be pleased to know that the raccoons that pick through their trash have greater representation in Hartford than their children.
