You gotta love Ned crowing that he’s not taking money from lobbyists, as an example of how devoted he is to ‘clean elections’. Well, neither is anyone else: lobbyist contributions are illegal in Connecticut state elections.

Malloy has A LOT to learn…if you get the opportunity ask Malloy about the federal debt and GDP…he is clueless. I personally will not be voting for anyone that does not has a grasp on the economic crisis our country and CT faces. Otherwise…I’d be voting for more of the same…corrupt union driven polices…NOT buying what Malloy is selling! No thx malloy!!

Someone should ask Lamont about something he and Weicker opposed when they ran in the early 1990’s: Their opposition to the State Income Tax. What does candidate Lamont have to say today?

After the implementation of the State Income Tax in CT, spending and our accumulated deficit exploded. Our bond rating was just downgraded. How does Ned Lamont plan to handle Hartford?

All of his talk about small business doesn’t add up to a hill of beans. We need to slash all of our taxes to attract big and little businesses to our state.

Yes of course with the unions backing ned will asurely be their man. Increase budgets so as not to let his constituents, the unions, down while we all pay the bill. After what the Democrats have done to this state, it will be a bad day for all if the voters let them keep power and continue with an all Democrat delegation in DC.

I don’t see how any legitimate politician [D or R] can point to Lowell (“I’m opposed to an income tax — until I’m elected”) Weicker and expect to retain credibility.

Mr. Lamont already has a strong following. He just needs to tell voters what he will do if they elect him. Aligning himself with Mr. Weicker suggests he will do exactly the opposite of what he is saying. Today, the only thing worse than being an incumbent politician is being a say anything/do anything to-get-elected politician.
