  1. Equal Justice says:

For as long as I can remember the liberals in this state have been urging businesses to ‘hire the cons.’ These people, we were told, made mistakes but they have paid their debt to society and deserve a break. Obviously that doesn’t apply to republican ex-cons.

John Rowland made mistakes, committed indiscretions and violated the law. He admitted to it, was sentenced to prison and paid his debt to society. He is on WTIC because the station believes listeners will tune in and you know what? I will. He is far more articulate and thoughtful than his predecessor Colin McEnroe. He has vast knowledge about the state of Connecticut, economic development and a host of other topics.

I am sure you will feel that Ernie Newton and Jeff Davis deserve a break after they have paid their debts to society,

So Ken… DON’T LISTEN to Johnny Johnola. It is your choice. Switch your dial to NPR and listen to Colin calling people names and denigrating capitalism, a topic on which he has absolutely no knowledge. But above all Ken, stop whining. People have every right to listen to John Rowland just as they have every right to ignore your rag when you keep beating the same drum and whining the same tired song over and over.
