The press has given free publicity to Blumy for the past 20 years at every event a phtographers been at. I don’t know who was doing his job. McMahon has had to spend a lot of money to make up for that lack of face time. The press in CT do not like Republicans. THey have sold the voters on Democrats for years. But we have a state with huge budget deficits, huge unfunded retirement programs, and unions that control the state thanks to the benefits of a Democrat controlled legislature. Of our gas tax we have only 32% going to transportation and the rest to the general fund. But the Dems want tolls. In every business friendly poll CT ranks near the bottom. Of the money CT sends to DC 69% comes back in aid. Remember the ‘temporary’ income tax? It is clear the Democrats have not been doing their job of wisely spending the taxpayers money. Blumenthal has overstepped his authority as AG, closing business and even jailing one executive and putting her company out of business. She was later acquitted and the state padi $18 million in fines. But her reputation was already damaged. The Democrats are the reason that companies leave or go out of business and the jobs go with them. We need less Democrats in office since they are controlled by unions and lwyers.

Linda McMahon is unelectable and a toxic candidate. As a Republican, I will be embarrassed if she is elected the next senator from Connecticut.

She has spent a ton of money on pretty advertisements telling us what she will do based on the plans and policy’s she’s paid millions to consultants to develop for her in the past year.

At the same time, she spends even more attacking her opponents on their records while her “record” remains the most tarnished and despicable of all.

If we are–as her commercials incessantly suggest–to gauge people’s future actions based on their past then we have no reason to suspect that Linda McMahon will do anything as a senator besides market sex and violence to young children, promote steroid abuse, and stage performances on the floor of the chamber where large men beat some women.

Because, after all, what IS her “record” other than a glorious lack of any kind of public service what-so-ever and a professional career riddled with offensive actions?

I’m not saying Richard Blumenthal would be a good senator either. I strongly disagree with his policies. But, at least I know that his policies are his own and not created by heavily paid consultants and researchers.

Connecticut voters should be embarrassed by the candidates that they have nominated this year–on both sides of the aisle.

This guy is supposed to be a journalist?

I’m sorry, but your blog, Ken, seems like it was written by a fifth grader.

Now, with that aside, perhaps you can tell me why in your limited capacity you apparently believe Richard Blumenthal would make a better Senator than Linda McMahon.

So far, Richard Blumenthal has impressed me as someone who will continue us down the failed path of that crook of crooks, Christopher Dodd. Linda McMahon, on the other hand, plans to stop the spending insanity in Congress, and stop the excessive taxation of our citizens, whether it be by the federal income tax, or the health care tax (yes, it is a tax, not an overhaul), Cap and Trade, etc.

Ken, you are mad at Linda for something, but I couldn’t get what it was. Was it that you were left out of something? Maybe, you just didn’t like the Q poll results, is that what’s got you down?

Linda is in a virtual tie with Blumenthal, according to the Q poll, using the 3% margin of error. And they said it couldn’t be done, what with her being a novice, a woman, a republican, not an insider. Oh Richard, that has got to hurt your out sized ego. Now you are going the way of Rob S., how could that happen in a blue state?

The answer is quite simple, Linda has the right stuff for a troubled economy and congress making all the wrong moves. The people know quality from damaged goods. In desperation, Blumenthall does the only thing he knows, he issues a press release threatening another company. When is the MSM going to demand his resignation? He uses his taxpayer funded office as a political tool for his own benefit. Who is the first to cite an ethical offense? Who is to be first to report him to the FEC?

Linda’s campaign in the space of 12 months has been squeaky clean. And doesn’t that drive the Ken Dixons of this world crazy?

Hard returns and periods are your friends.

I’m still not clear on what you are complaining about… Were newspapers and bloggers not invited to a press conference or something?

If so, could you blame them? Do you read the crap that CT journalists are regurgitating about McMahon in their blogs? They’ve set a record for number of inaccurate, poorly researched one-liner’s about chair shots and steroids.
