  1. Bob Ferrantino says:

Tom Foley should consult with the Reverend Barbara Sexton, apparently his spiritual advisor and Independent Coalition leader, to decide what to do about health care and other thorny issues. She seems to have all the answers clairvoyantly in advance anyway.

Mr. Foley’s proposed policies can be summed up in one word: “naive.”

His political inexperience is showing, and his back-pedaling and glossing-over on so many things is becoming tedious.

That is not how a Governor behaves.

  2. George Rogerson says:

Tom Foley’s economic plans to gut health care, slash jobs, wreck the unions, and wrestle the Legislature of CT can best be described as …… “Foley’s Folly-Nomics!”

I cannot vote for a guaranteed failure, I’d rather see Malloy in Hartford. At least Malloy knows how the system works, and is clearly a dedicated public servant, not a rich opportunist.

  3. CR Cook says:

Oh for crying out loud. This is absurd ad. Couldn’t possibly vote for Malloy now. And please, stop using your gift of $8 million in tax dollars to fill the air with such silliness.

  4. CR Cook says:

That does it! Couldn’t possibly vote for Malloy now. Lies, Lies, Lies. And please, give me back my $8 million in tax dollars so I can help those in need.

  5. Milford Businessman says:

That is a good ad that tells it like it is.

    Tom Foley seems……untrustworthy.

His proposed programs fly in the face of political reality, it sounds good on slick expensive TV ads, but carrying it out with zero experience working with a tough legislature? No way.

Other issues of trust, such as the arrests. The Bibb Bankruptcy while pocketing millions. The federal security clearance questions. The Bush appointments based solely on fund-raising. Overstatements about his role in Iraq. The messy first divorce. The big yacht and personal jet. Causing thousands of working class people to lose their jobs, ruining their home town.

Tom Foley: Untrustworthy for the Governor’s office, in my humble opinion, offered with all due respect.
