Anyone who believes that a 20% budget deficit can be solved without taxes is either (a) willfully delusional, or (b) so unconcerned about other people’s well being that they are willing to slaughter programs that help people.

I believe things in the state budget can be cut, there isn’t any question about that. But it’s unreasonable to expect that cuts alone can solve the problem without devastating state services and the economy (i.e.: how, exactly, do thousands of layoffs of state and local employees help the economy?)

    Never say never.

Remember “Read my lips. No new taxes.”?

Joe Crisco would paint his fanny green and stand naked in Macy’s window to get reelected. Crisco is not to be trusted. He forged someone’s name to grab $80,000 in tax payer funds. He has raised taxes and backed the last budget which is $3 billion in deficit. How can anyone believe he won’t raise taxes again.

Tamath Rossi, his Republican opponent, will not raise taxes. She’s a business owner and knows what a mess Crisco and his Democratic friends in the State Senate have done to our economy.

Joe Crisco signing a no tax pledge – give me a tax break.
