First of all, CT certainly didn’t get the most bang for their buck by spending millions to elect a career politician.
Second, when you factor in all the union and outside money that came into CT to support Malloy, it cost way more to elect him than Foley.
a little less than $11/vote for Malloy, more than $19/vote for Foley.
You’re including the money they spent in the primaries, but not those votes. Might be more accurate to do this just for the money spent and votes won in the general.
