The legislation inspired by the mass shooting in Arizona in January that left six dead and U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords critically wounded has died in the General Assembly’s Judiciary Committee. As the panel moves toward its 5 p.m. deadline today, the bill that would put limits on the size of gun magazines is not on the agenda. Therefore, it is dead.
