Forgot those local budgets! Muny aid taking big hit: Malloy

    Well when Malloy refused to answer how he was going to balance the budget during the campaign and said he wanted the towns to tax themselves, I knew the towns would get hit. Now the union leadership skates, the towns get hit and the lower seniority union members take the hit.
    WHy does this budget spend 900 million more? Why do we have a busway and hospital we can’t afford? Remember the hospital had a 100 million earmark from Dodd but Obama gave it to Ohio, a swing state. Why has Malloys staff budget gone up since he got in? WHy do the officals have drivers and cars? Why are their longevity bonuses? Why is overtime used in pension calculations? WHy is he not laying off the full 7500? THe Dems may give him the power so they can say ‘I didn’t do it’. It is called implausable deniability unless the voters are really that dumb. People like Donavan and Prague need to go. WHo is sharing the pain now. Certainly not the union leadership.
