Republican House Leader Larry Cafero was miffed that Gov Malloy’s budget director, Ben Barnes, seemed to be ignoring the traditional leadership briefing on the budget. After sending this letter, Barnes responded to offer a 9:30 meeting on Thursday, before the governor’s scheduled noon budget address.
