Malloy to lawmakers: Don’t think that another casino means more state revenue

  2. Governor Malloy is mistaken if he believes new casinos will not bring more jobs and more revenues to the State of Connecticut. It would most likely take some business from the existing Tribal Casinos, but if placed logically, at least two new casinos would bring millions of new visitors and gaming revenues to the State. The best location is on I-95 or the Merritt Parkway by the New York border. The other is on I-395 next to the Massachusetts State line. Each would be the closest casino to substantial population, and providing they were complete facilities, would greatly benefit CT.
