MallOy found money to give his sir cat reports bonuses last year. He appointed a $115k director culture and found a defeated Dem an $85k job. So money appears to be available for his pets. But the GOP asks him to go back to the unions for give backs and he can’t do that because the unions own the Democats.
It is apparent Malloy hasn’t a clue about budgets. So are the gov and the dems playing bad cop, good cop. Did Malloy present a budget with all sorts of service cuts to get a budget with increases in taxes by the legislature through? Not sure they are that smart. But what is obvious is the Democráts can’t make tough decisions to reduce the size of government, have no interest in doing so because the unions own them, and the one party state rule isn’t working.

Hmmm… This comment is coming from a moron governor who submitted a budget that was calculating using inaccurate assumptions by one of his top appointees, who coincidentally also just received a 12% raise from Malloy while slashing numbers across the board.
