are you still around??? its been 4 days!!
Well, WBS’s season is officially over. They were swept by Hershey tonight.
Any truth to the rumor that Rob Collins is going to be playing in Germany?
Mike, I was doing some looking on the archives and found that my 1st post was Sept 28th! Wow, does time go by!!!! amazing
A handful of us Bridgeport faithful made the trek to WBS on Saturday because we weren’t ready for hockey season to end and we were hoping for a thrilling game only to be let down by the Penguins falling apart. The Penguins were not playing like they did against us. Too many hotheads on the Penguins as of late and they were definitely frustrated and taking too many stupid and blatant penalties. Hershey kept their cool and played their game.
The highlight of the game was in the 3rd period when good ole Louis Robitallie of Hershey started mocking the Pens fans by pointing to the crest of his jersey(after getting whaled on by Bonvie and drawing 7 minutes of penalties) and blowing kisses to the crowd and giving a not so discreet finger gesture at his temple when fans booed him and then the unthinkable by Daniel Carcillo who decides to grab himself somewhere for several minutes and gets a 10 misconduct for his antics and for not listening to ref who told him to get on the bench and he refused.
The Penguins are definitely not playing like they want to advance to the next round let alone the Calder Cup. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if Hershey does sweep WBS.
How are you feeling Mike? Hope you are resting up and taking care of yourself.
It’s kind of strange that Hershey is blowing away WBS. Would we even had a shot? I think so, our guys would have started to click more. Did anyone go to the BIG SALE yesterday at Harbour Yard?
