Yep, exactly, from the hit tv series ‘Wrench’. lol

We heard about it, had a feeling it was going to happen, but to finally know that Bill will not be broadcasting for the Sound Tigers is very upsetting. I have rarely heard reporting of a sporting event with such heart, such excitement, and such a bi-partisan feel as those broadcasts–and webcasts–that came from Bill McLaughlin. Our family hopes for nothing but success for Bill and his family, as well as happiness in his new surroundings. He deserves it; we just hope that we’ll find him someway, someday, somehow!

That sounds like our dearly departed Arrested Development, though I can’t remember the circumstances.

    Alright, Mike, speaking of shows….

“Stick a wrench in me, i’m done.”

    What show?

  5. Fornabaio says:

Game… odds are kinda low, due to factors mostly beyond my control.

    Practice, OTOH…

Mike, hope to see you at one of the Trashers games in the Colonial Cup Finals.

    Go Trashers!

Man this sucks, just when i am movin on from our game 7 loss we get hit with another loss. Bill no longer play by play? This sucks he was a great play by play announcer and i wish him best of luck next year, hopefully maybe he will get a job in the NHL. I hope this organization has somethin up their sleeve because we lost another great person and a man who knew his hockey

I was lucky to work close by Bill for 4 years as well. He was a bit hard to deal with the begining of year 1, but he turned out to be a great asset to the team. I enjoyed listening to him at the home games, I sat close! I would just look back at him when there was a good play and he would give me the thumbs up. He was my go to person for road game tickets and even tickets when BST was not playing. I will miss him as well. Bill if you read this GOOD LUCK!

It is official, the organization has gone completely MAD. They’ll never be able to replace Bill McLaughlin. He is the epitome of class, style and the consumate professional. There is no better.

    BIG MISTAKE.

What a shame that Bill will not be back. We heard on the last game that it sounded like it, but it was not confirmed. Bill will sorely be missed. While he was not here the first year, he WAS the voice of the Sound Tigers. I guess this was not a very good year for him. He provided us with such colorful play by play, especially when we could not watch the game. I think I can speak for a few that say we enjoyed Bill through the last 4 years and wish him well in his future endeavours. As Mike said, we also wish his successor luck because he has tough shoes to fill.
