   so I wonder what the personal reason is that Pronger wants to be traded. boy, it would be nice to see him with the Islanders. Hopefully we will start hearing some AHL news from BST and the around the league. Mike! we are so spoiled. I can’t way for Oct!!

   Ditto, and even if he is down, they’ll probably only play him twice. (Convenient excuse: Full and final schedule format due in the next couple of days.)

   I think you mean O’Sullivan, and there’s probably a good chance that he’ll make the Kings lineup, but even if he doesn’t, he’s just one guy.

   Because Minnesota traded O’Connor to LA, will he play in Manchester? And will he be a big threat to us?

   Mostly I’m freaked that Tom Benjamin might not write about it. I love the guy and will miss him if he really does give up the blog ghost…

   Probably a good change of scenery for both principals, is my first nonscientific thought. No time to crunch the salary-cap implications now, though, and sadly, that’s what it’s all gonna come down to in that league from now on.

   Brakettes are drawing a few hundred a night, give or take, with a nice crowd Thursday for the Finchless Bandits…
